We recognize that not all buyers come to this website with the same intentions or the same resources. Some buyers would categorize themselves as casual 'browsers', while others are focused on finding that perfect website that will complement their other online offerings. Similarly, some buyers are looking for small to mid-sized home based businesses, while others seek to acquire multi-million dollar enterprises. Although it is not possible to be all things to all people, we hope the various buyer options below come close.

- By default, any visitor to the site that views listings falls into the 'Not Registered' category below.
- Sellers decide whether their website's URL can be viewed by everyone, Gold & Platinum buyers, just Platinum buyers, or noone; however, the default setting allows a listing's URL to be viewed by only Gold and Platinum buyers.
- Sellers decide whether their Premium Listings can be contacted by everyone, Gold & Platinum buyers, or just Platinum buyers; however, the default setting allows Premium Listings to be contacted by only Gold and Platinum buyers.
- The refundable deposit is an indicator of the seriousness of the buyer. The deposit is held by VotanWeb until the buyer's membership expires.
